Sorry this week is so late you guys! Things have been absolutely crazy recently so I haven't had quite as much time. But anyways, did anyone else see the snow today??
For my 52 week, the original concept was frozen fingers in the first snow, and apparently frozen fingers actually look like this and not just like their stuck in a chunk of ice (which is also infinitely harder to photoshop anyways). I also first envisioned this outside, but figured doing it inside was a nice juxtaposition. Plus I'm lazy, so there, I said it.
For writing, I had to write a memory or dream. I wrote it, and it sucks, but I did it. I wrote about when I was like six and went to the parade in my grandparents' town and my mom accidentally pushed me into the street where I subsequently cut open my knee on the asphalt. She was nudging me to get candy that people were throwing down on the ground--ah the nineties.
In other news, nanowrimo finally finished and I'm still only at like 7,000 words, so I utterly failed yet again. I just don't think I'm cut out to spit things out of my brain that quickly. They need to mull around a bit longer than thirty days and I like it better that way anyways. Pretty proud of the progress I've made regardless, and I'm still slowly chugging along.
For the art portion I rolled "inspired by a song or quote." I took it a bit more literally than I intended the roll to be, but inspiration did not strike so I had to make due with something obvious. And if we're being honest, I waited until today for inspiration and it never came so I spewed this out at the last minute. But I did it and I like it anyways, even if it only took me like half an hour and ultimately I want to take an entire week on these things instead.
Now that I've overexplained myself, here's this week's rolls!
Writing: Inspired by a photo
