One Semester Later

And in the blink of an eye, my first semester as a professor is over. It has been simultaneously so long and way too short, and I have learned so so much. I'm very thankful for my students for showing me so much grace as I navigated this new experience, and I'm so proud of them for how far they've come! I've been waiting to write anything, to maybe see if all of the emotions would sink in, but honestly I don't know if I'll ever really have the words. This semester has been challenging and way too much fun, and I still can hardly believe that 1. I did it, and that 2. I was given this opportunity. It's yet another gift from John that's changed my life.
